OBE Ohnmacht & Baumgärtner has developed a valve cam follower using the latest metal injection molding (MIM) technology. Most engineers are aware of metal injection molding (MIM) as a well-established and precise manufacturing method. However, few people realize that MIM can also bring weight reduction benefits. Thanks to MIM technology, OBE Ohnmacht & Baumgärtner has developed a cam follower with a lightweight geometry, which increases efficiency and saves weight, but also reduces translatory inertia.
