Škoda introduces first CNG-powered SUV

Škoda has added a third model to its SUV portfolio. The Kamiq will be available with a 1.0 G-TEC engine that delivers 90ps and is the first engine in a Škoda SUV to run on CNG.

The OEM will also pair the SUV with three TSI gasoline engines with cylinder capacities of 1-liter or 1.5-liter, and a 1.6-liter TDI unit that produces between 95ps and 150ps. All the engine variants comply to Euro 6d-TEMP emissions standards.

The engines can be coupled with a 5- or 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DSG.
