NExt Engine are looking for a seasoned engine designer who is comfortable operating in a fully digital environment to assist with the refinement and commercial launch of a fundamentally new and innovative engine architecture. Not a crankshaft, not a rotary, not a turbine…something new.

You should have at least 10 years industry experience, be fluent in CAD and FEA modelling tools and methods while also being comfortable collaborating and working with a variety of universities and research partners.

You will have worked for a recognised industry player and have been involved in F1 directly or indirectly. You should have been involved in leading the design and testing of parts, components and the full end to end drive train solution. A history of  touching improving and refining injectors, ports cams and gas flows, transmissions, pistons, and overall engine architecture would be ideal.

You will need to have a can do attitude, be an energetic creative problem solver, have good written and verbal communication skills and have leadership potential.
