The Unique Opportunity.
Due to continuing company success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated research professional to fulfil consulting projects for the Automotive & Transportation Consulting Practice at Frost & Sullivan
Frost & Sullivan’s Automotive & Transportation Group is dedicated to partnering with leading industry players within the logistics, automotive testing and diagnostics, commercial vehicles, safety/driving assistance/warning systems and powertrain business communities, by providing strategic market research and bespoke consulting solutions.
The Consulting Analyst is responsible for the successful fulfilment of consulting projects, utilising primary and secondary market research methodologies, whilst delivering client projects and supporting business development activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced researcher to undertake a varied and challenging Consulting career, within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake business-to-business research, utilising primary and secondary methodologies.
• Research analysis through qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
• Production of high-quality strategic consulting reports and presentations.
• Provide direct advice to clients and support business development.
• Project management within global client projects.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
The successful candidate will be a professional and results orientated research professional with the drive and ambition to achieve successful client satisfaction and research project fulfilment. Previous market research and project management experience are essential, with the ability to be pro-active, methodical and innovative within a fast paced, sales focused environment.
Essential:
• A strong understanding of market research methodologies.
• Strong commercial acumen and market awareness.
• Articulate with excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• A degree level education or equivalent.
Desirable:
• Knowledge or experience of the logistics, rail systems, automotive testing and diagnostics, chasisi technologies & driving dynamics, commercial vehicles, ITS, telematics & infotainment, powertrain and alternative propulsion, and/or safety, driving assistance and warning systems markets.
• A second European language.
• A relevant postgraduate qualification (PhD, MA, MBA).
