Hartridge upgrades manufacturing software

Diesel fuel injection testing technology company Hartridge has upgraded to Infor CloudSuite Industrial, as part of a modernization program to phase out the company’s legacy systems and servers.

“Innovation has always been at the heart of our business, and is key to our future,” said Anton Hobbs, business systems manager at Hartridge. “We recognize that, in order to pursue this, we must continuously seek out opportunities to improve product quality and reduce production costs.”

The addition of Infor CloudSuite Industrial means all information relating to an order can be accessed via a single interface, from order management, projects and production planning, to projects and aftersales support.

“Having used Infor SyteLine successfully for more than seven years, moving to the latest version of the software will drive the efficiencies, productivity improvements, and insight we need to keep driving the business forward,” added Hobbs.

The company will now focus attention on training in order to maximize the capabilities of working with the comprehensive ERP system, which includes additional functionality to support document management and quality management software.

“In an industry that is subject to complex value chains, continuous product launches, complex product configurations and increasingly short lifecycles, having a platform that can manage this seamlessly and without the need for manual intervention is an absolute must,” said Phil Lewis, VP at Infor.

“Infor CloudSuite Industrial has been developed with industry-specific capabilities to deliver precisely this functionality, leaving more time to dedicate to the core business of innovation.”
