Engine Expo 2012 – return of the Electric & Hybrid Pavilion

Electric and hybrid technologies continue to move from the niche and toward the mainstream as a result of emissions reduction being one of the top priorities during new engine development programs. As a result, Engine Expo 2012 promises to build on the success of last year’s Electric & Hybrid Pavilion – a platform that enables exhibitors to reach an audience of key developmental personnel from major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, as well as independent electric, hybrid, and fuel cell propelled vehicle manufacturers.

For 2012, the Electric & Hybrid Pavilion will be home to some fascinating concepts and breakthrough technologies across all three days.

One must-see company that will be at the Pavilion is Waukesha Metal Products, which plans to showcase a range of tight-tolerance metal stampings and fabrications. The company will present custom metal stampings and sheet metal fabricated parts primarily used for light vehicles and heavy off-road vehicles. Engineers at Waukesha have also developed an advanced die-sensor technology to provide automation opportunities, including in-die assembly, in-die welding and in-die measurement.

Waukesha provides low-volume/high-mix sheet metal fabrications, from small unique parts, to large custom enclosures and complex assemblies. Stand 3390
