CNC upgrade for MCT base
MCT has enhanced its manufacturing capacity by investing in an additional three CNC machine tools at its UK manufacturing plant. The new equipment will give MCT the ability to further reduce turnaround times on milling projects as well as increasing the company’s total solution capabilities.
MCT’s new CNC resources consist of two Matsuura multi-pallet H-Plus 405 horizontal devices and a single pallet vertical milling machine from the same manufacturer.
MCT says that the investment is part of the company’s strategy to support medium-sized batch manufacturing, bringing further stability and vision to the service it offers its clients. Kevin Lee, MCT’s MD adds: “Our commitment to delivering market-leading programs for our client base means we are seeking, constantly, to improve our infrastructure and capabilities at Leafield, Oxfordshire.
“MCT’s latest investment will further enhance our ability to offer a total solution to customers, across the automotive, motorsport and aerospace sectors.”
