EVS 25: Show Review

Following on from last year’s successful show in Stavanger, Norway, this year’s EVS event (EVS 25) in Shenzhen, China, proved another very popular event with exhibitors and visitors flocking from around the world to take part.

Recognized as one of the electric transportation industry's premier and largest forums, showcasing all forms of technologies in the market place and on the drawing boards, EVS 25 this year boasted academic, government and industry leaders from around the world that are interested in exploring and understanding the technical, policy and market challenges to realize electric transportation technologies.

This year’s event included a wide range of state-of-the-art electric vehicles, electric motorcycles and bicycles; hybrid vehicles; CNG and LPG applications; batteries, fuel cells and other energy storage system devices; chargers and charging systems; battery and energy management systems; auxiliary components; tests, measurement and simulation equipments; manufacturing technology and new materials; energy supply infrastructure; and repairing and maintaining equipment.

In addition to all the innovative technology on show, there was also a ride and drive event taking place and a paper presentation program that included many leading and acclaimed speakers.

The next event, EVS 26, will take place in Los Angeles, USA, in May 2012 and promises to be even bigger, building on the inroads made in Shenzhen this year.
